PORTO AMIGO

PORTO AMIGO is located on Beira Rio Avenue, in the Bom Jesus neighborhood, between the Marechal Hermes da Fonseca Bridge (Old Bridge) and the Eng. Antônio Pimenta Bridge (New Bridge). It is a docking point for fishermen, island residents, water sports enthusiasts, and small tourist boat rides. The port is associated with the figure of Reinaldo dos Santos – “Moranga,” a fisherman, tour guide, and storyteller.
