ENGENHEIRO ANTÔNIO PIMENTA BRIDGE (PONTE NOVA)

The ‘Eng. Antônio Pimenta’ Bridge (Ponte Nova), built in the early 1970s, with a length of 300 meters, connects the right and left banks of the São Francisco River along the BR-365 highway. It is the only access route between Pirapora and Buritizeiro for passenger cars, buses, and freight vehicles. Located just 3 km from the commercial center of Pirapora, the concrete bridge has an asphalt surface, signage, and heavy traffic in the area.
